SPRING UNVEILING SPRING UNVEILING WEEKEND …APRIL 30, MAY 1 & 2
The 16 galleries in Cannon Beach unite to throw the hottest Spring art show in the Northwest.
DragonFire will unveil the latest work by its 125 artists. Jewelry, glass, metal, painting and more...the colors will be dazzling, the diversity stimulating and the joy of Spring heart warming. We will have many of your DragonFire favorites on hand as well as three very special featured artists demonstrating their talents in the gallery. DragonFire's Inspired! Café will provide food and drink and live music will abound. Come spend the weekend with us and celebrate the Magic of May!
Chuck Gumpert will show a new series of abstract and figurative mixed media canvases rich with color and light.
Mandy Main will unveil a new series of oils on canvas landscapes. Bordering on abstraction, Main's paintings highlight the role of light in the natural world.
Catherine Foster will show a new series of free standing and wall hung copper kimonos. A master of her medium, Foster paints, embosses and molds copper in a manner that highlights the power of art to convey spirit.
DragonFire will also unveil a new exhibit project tentatively called the Children's Wall. With a mission to speak to children through art, the first show will feature illustrations for children's books by longtime DragonFire artists Robyn Waters and Michael Orwick.
Mark the dates on your calendar and check the website for the Spring Unveiling schedule as it becomes available.
